Travel

Travel has been such an integral part of my life. That pull to explore has never, ever waned. Amazingly, I'm still as curious and grateful for each trip as the day I started.

Canada and Life in the Thousand Islands

As a Canadian, I'm aware of just how big, and diverse, this country is. I am most connected with Ontario, my home province, but have also spent time in Quebec, the East Coast, Alberta and British Colombia.

Italy

Italy is my happy place. For a place I have only been four times (so far!) it has left an indelible mark on my life.

Argentina

Having lived in Argentina for eight years, Buenos Aires is always within me. Argentina, like me, also has a crush on Italian culture which is maybe why we get along so well.

The United States

As a Canadian living in the Thousand Islands, the USA, is literally our backyard neighbour.

Mexico

Southern Mexico was the first place I lived outside of Canada. Mexico took me by the hand and welcomed me to the world. It will always hold a piece of my heart.

Latin America and Caribbean

In addition to living in Argentina and Mexico, some other favourite spots include Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Uruguay and of course the Caribbean.

Europe

Europe is a wonderful place to explore no matter what your interests are. Beyond the most obvious iconic sites of Paris, London or Rome there are truly endless possibilities. Tuck in!

Asia

Like Europe, travelling in Asia is such a vast place region of the world to explore. This is a corner of the world that challenged me as a young women to open my mind to new ways of thinking, and of being.

Travel with Children

I loved travelling with my kids when they were little. People often find it intimidating but with a little planning, flexibility and patience, it can be wonderful. My kids are grown now, but it's still a treat when we have the privilege to have an adventure together.
